Homecoming Dance

My girls had their Homecoming Dance.  This was Elizabeth's first High School Dance.  I still can't believe that she is in High School now.  They looked great! :)  Enjoy!

They are growing up too fast!  Make it stop because it's making me older. :)

Hello November!

What beautiful weather we have had for the first few days of November.  I guess this is our Indian Summer as they call it.  We are trying to finish getting our house buttoned up for the winter.  We cleaned most of the deck off today and pulled the rest of the garden out.  Cleaned our exhaust pipe to the pellet stove we have seeing that it will be turning much colder tonight.

We have cleaned all the windows in the house.  They look great!  Now we can see out of them. :)  It's funny how you get used to looking through your windows thinking they are clean but until you do them it is amazing how clean they are now.  I just love my new windows where you can clean them from the inside of the house and don't have to be on the outside.  This is the best invention that was possibly ever made.

We took down all the Halloween decorations as well.  Now it is time to start decorating for Christmas.  I know this sounds crazy but I just love Christmas and all the decorations that go with it.  Plus, I have so many decorations that it takes awhile to put them all up and I also like to enjoy them longer.  I guess I take after my Mom.  I grew up with my Mom always doing the most awesome decorating making you feel like you are in a winter wonderland and at the North Pole.  I loved it as a kid and still do and my husband and kids love it too.  No complaints here. :)

Another Birthday in the House

Time is flying by so quickly with everything happening at the end of the school year.  I forgot to put my daughter Emily's photo up on her Birthday.  I guess it's better late than never.

Happy 12th Birthday Emily!!!

We Love You!!!

Around the house

Here are some photos of flowers and plants around the house.  I will have more photos soon of our finished planted garden and flowers around the house.  The weather has been pretty good so far for a garden.  It is getting lots of water from the rain we have been having.  Which saves us from having to water it ourselves.  I just hope everything will grow that we planted.

Can not remember the name of this pretty plant.  Has a crazy name something like Blood Bearded Tongue but don't hold me to that.

Our Silver Anniversary

Well today marks our 25th Wedding Anniversary!  Woo-hoo!!  I can't believe 25 years have gone by already.  But then again I can believe it.  As I look back over the years it's been filled with so many great memories of everything.  Our firsts together with buying a house and having all our beautiful daughters and being with all our family and friends.  We have had our downs too but I think the ups have taken the cake.

I am so thankful and blessed to have met my husband and to fall madly in love with him with a love that is never ending and is only growing more and more everyday.  He is my everything.  If it wasn't for him, I have no idea where I would be in my life.  I can't picture my life without him.

Here's to you Bub for the past 25 years and looking forward to our continuing journey into the future together!

I love you to pieces!  :)

New Addition to our Family

We have a new addition to our family!

Meet Trixie & Oreo! :)

Yes, the kittens are girls!  Poor Timmy...he is so totally out numbered now and there will be no way that he can catch up.  Oh well, he loves it.

These little darlings are the sweetest thing.  They are so full of life and energy and are such a joy to have in the house.  They are very loveable and we love them.

Trixie is the one with a white stripe on her nose and Oreo has a white mustache like she just drank a glass of milk.

We are all in love!
