Field Hockey & Celebrations

Over the past week Brittany, Abbie, Elizabeth and Emily finished up with Field Hockey.  I'm so happy that the season is over.  They are too, I think?  What a great season for them.  They all really worked hard and played very well and made us very proud of them. 

 

 

We also had a visit with Timmy's Mom and it happened to be her Birthday to top it off.  We all had a wonderful dinner followed by a cake that we made and we all sang Happy Birthday and had a great time.  We ended the evening watching "Hocus Pocus".  Totally love that movie.  If you haven't seen it you need to rent it.  I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

Canobie Lake Park

Back last month we attended Timmy's Company Outing at Canobie Lake Amusement Park.  We had the most perfect weather that day.  His company paid for a big all you can eat lunch that day for 2 hours and they paid for all our tickets to get into the park for unlimited rides.  We had a total of 9 hours to spend in the park and we managed to make it for 8. We could barely walk out of the park at the end of the day we were so tired.  The kids really enjoyed it.   They are all little dare devils on all the rides.  Timmy liked some of the rides but couldn't get on others.  I managed to only get on the flying swings and that even was too much.  I just can't take the spinning anymore I get that sick feeling too quick.  I had just as much fun watching them scream while on the rides. :)  Here are some photos of the day.

Look close and you can see Timmy, Brittany and Emily upside down on the Corkscrew Rollercoaster.  I was able to stand right under them as they went flying overhead.

The kids loved this ride especially Danni who went on it like 5 times.  It's where you go into a small round room and you stand against the wall and then the room starts to spin and they drop the floor on you as your stuck to the wall.  You can look down from the top as the ride is going but I warn you that you will get dizzy doing that.

Blast Off!

Here is another CRAZY ride called the XTREME.....Elizabeth and Emily are on this somewhere.  The ride holds 40 people at a time.  This goes back and forth like a pendalim and spins all the way around and when it is really going it looks like they are going to flip it right over.  Way too much for me! :)

I'm going to try and post a video of the ride "Untamed".  These are people that I don't know but I got an awesome shot as to how the ride goes.  It looks totally scary and you should have heard all the big men scream like little kids.  It was too funny to watch.
