Moved Meagan to Orono

Well summer has come to an end around here.  We moved Meagan up to college.  We filled our van and she filled her car and we were off on our 3 hour journey to get everything up to Orono.  The ride is fun but it is boring at times when all you see is tree after tree and nothing else. 

This is Meagan's 3rd year of college and she was just accepted into the Professional Athletic Training Program.  She also decided to live off of campus this year with 3 other students.  They are renting a house.  It is so much cheaper to rent off than live on campus.  Plus she gets the benefits of making her own meals and doesn't have to worry about being booted out of the dorms for mandatory shut downs over holidays when she needs a place to stay to play at the hockey games.  (She is in the Pep Band and plays the Baritone.) 

I took lots of pictures on the way and got only a picture of the outside of her house.  We got so busy moving her in that I forgot to take inside pictures.  Oh, well...  it's a nice little place and they have off-street parking and a back yard and everything. 

We miss her already!  She is doing very well and enjoying every bit of college life.

While we were up there before we headed home, we took her out to eat for lunch and then we visited a Bog located just on the line of the city.  It is a really nice place to go and walk on the boardwalk.

In Loving Memory of Boo

Today is a very sad day for our family.  We lost our kitten today from a long illness that the doctors could never find out.  We were taking her to the hospital and she died in my arms on the way there.  We will miss her terribly but we have lots of happy memories to keep of her in our hearts.

Trying to Keep up!

Wow! It's been forever since I've written anything on here.  Things have been so crazy around her since sometime in August when everything just exploded with all kinds of stuff.  Field Hockey kicked into high gear with Brittany and Abbie at the High School.  We had to pack, shop and move Meagan back to college.  School shopping for all the other ones and then we were back on a school schedule before we knew it.  

I've been trying to put the house back to normal with them all back at school but it seems everything always comes up and I can't be here to do it.  It's a slow process but it will come along...  I've been wanting to post something almost everyday and I'm always putting it off and saying that I will do it at night when all is quiet but guess what, it hasn't been like that at all.  I've been so tired at night that I don't want to do anything but go to sleep.

I hope all our family and friends are doing great.  I am hoping to make a goal to keep posting at least a couple of times a week if not more.
