Vacation

I didn't realize it has been a bit since I've last posted something.  I guess when we went on vacation I stayed on vacation. :)

We all decided this year not to go away anywhere for vacation so we can save up and possibly be able to rent a condo or a lake front cottage for a week somewhere next summer. We will be trying really hard to do this so we can actually go somewhere.

Lot's have been going on around here. The kids are on summer break and we took our family vacation the last week of June which included us just hanging around the house and visiting our local Lake to do some swimming. The weather had been very warm so it was great to just relax with a book at the lake.

We took the kids to the Drive-In again to see "Brave". What a wonderful movie and you can't beat the price of $15.00 for a car load. Another Princess to add to Disney's collection. Can't wait for it to come out on DVD to add to our BIG collection of movies that we love.

Timmy continued to work on replacing the siding on the back side of the house around the new door that goes out to the deck. Almost done! It's looking really good.

We also managed another beach day at White Lake State Park in NH which is only 25 minutes from the house. This is a really nice park.  Very clean, bathrooms, picnic tables, playground and lots of water and sun to enjoy. You have to pay to get into the park so we don't go to often only because it costs us almost $30 for just one day.  We like our own towns "Free" Lake to swim.

As you can see we had a very inexpensive vacation but that is what we love.  We had lots of family time together swimming and eating and having lots of fun which is totally priceless. 

I wish we could be on vacation everyday, all summer long with all of us. What a life that would be....

I'm trying really hard to try and get back into posting.  It may not be daily but you never know. I'll do pictures in the next one.
